Resolutions

Resolutions passed at the 27th UCWLC National Congress, October 1st, 2022:

Resolution # 1 – 80th Anniversary of the National UCWLC – 2024

WHEREAS the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada will celebrate the 80th anniversary of our organization in the year 2024,
BE IT RESOLVED the UCWLC is the official association of women laity of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada whose social development aims are:

1. That the Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada, National Executive begin making plans to mark this milestone, and
2. That the National Executive collaborate in this anniversary celebration

Resolution #2 – War in Ukraine

WHEREAS Ukraine is the victim of unjust, unprovoked war and genocide of the Ukrainian people perpetrated by Russia,
BE IT RESOLVED, that UCWLC members unite in prayer and provide assistance to the victims of the war in Ukraine, Canada, and/or worldwide.

Резолюція № 1 – 80-ліття Крайової ЛУКЖК – 2024 рік

ОСКІЛЬКИ, Ліга Українських Католицьких Жінок Канади відзначатиме 80-ліття організації у 2024 році,
ВИРІШЕНО,

1. Щоб Крайова Управа Ліги Українських Католицьких Жінок Канади розпочала підготовку до відзначення цього ювілею, та
2. Щоб Крайова Управа співпрацювала у святкуванні цього ювілею.

ОСКІЛЬКИ, Україна є жертвою несправедливої, неспровокованої війни та геноциду українського народу, вчиненого Росією,
ВИРІШЕНО, щоб члени ЛУКЖК об’єдналися в молитві та надали допомогу жертвам війни в Україні, Канаді та/або в усьому світі.
