To provide and participate in service to individuals, groups, communities, and society in general through works of mercy, charity, and mutual aid, addressing human needs.

To develop and enrich the religious and spiritual life of each member in the context of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, its liturgy, theology, spirituality, practices, and traditions. That all may be instruments for evangelization.

To promote and expand an understanding of Catholic moral standards and values and how they apply to everyday life; To develop and deepen a sense of civic responsibility among UCWLC members; To initiate and support social action programs which exemplify Catholic ideals and values of justice and love, particularly programs related to the sanctity of human life and the sacredness of the family.

To preserve, promote, and develop the Ukrainian heritage, language, culture, traditions, and arts.
