The Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada, in its ongoing commitment to the Ukrainian Catholic Church, which is to proclaim the Risen Christ, and the nurturing of the Ukrainian cultural heritage, is dedicated to providing the resources that allow its members to recognize their vocation by living an authentic Christian life as contributing members of the Church and society.

Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC)

UCWLC became a member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (previously the Ukrainian Canadian Committee) in 1993.

World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organization Congress (WFUWO)

Світова Федерація Українських Жіночих Організацій (СФУЖО)

WFUWO is an international association of Ukrainian Women’s organizations established in 1948.

WFUWO unites 27 organizations from 17 countries on four continents and represents a spectrum of women’s organizations pursuing civic, religious, cultural, educational, immigration and humanitarian goals. WFUWO reflects the activity of local Ukrainian communities worldwide, as well as international networking through a relationship with the United Nations.

The UCWLC was a founding member of WFUWO and has maintained membership since then.

World Union of Catholic Women’s Organization (WUCWO)

Світова Coюзу Католицьких Організацій

WUCWO’s aim is to promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in society and the Church in order to enable them to  fulfill their mission of evangelization and to work for human development, particularly in increasing educational opportunities, poverty reduction and the advancement of human rights beginning with the fundamental right to life.

UCWLC joined WUCWO as a Full Member in 1957 and has maintained status as a full member since then.
